Chinese painting can be divided into three “categories” (figures, scenery, birds and flowers) representing the elements of the universe and human life. It is a type of painting based on the painting with ink and brush, techniques similar or same as in the Chinese calligraphy. Chinese painting tradition dates back to the 7th century.
