A Tea Ceremony workshop is designed for all candidates who want to learn the basics of the Chinese tea ceremony and preparation of green, black and Oolong tea.
China’s tea culture differs from other’s countries’ tea cultures, e.g. from European or Japanese, not only in the method of preparation, but also in the manner and tasting occasions at which it is consumed. Tea is not just a beverage of formal or everyday occasion; it is also very often used in Chinese cuisine. Tea plays an important role in a religion and philosophies such as Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Approximately at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty the tea drinking has become an integral part in self-improvement ceremonies.
